Cake Crumb Cookies

I hate wasting food, especially cake, so when I have left over cake I like to try and use it up somehow.  Left over cake?  I hear you ask.  Who has left over cake?  Well, when you make as many cakes as I do it does happen sometimes.  So here is a really handy recipe to turn your left over cake into cookies.  I have used fruit cake for the cookies in the picture but this works with most types of cake.  The appearance will vary depending on the type of cake used but they will still be really tasty.  Enjoy!
